Prologue To That Diary Girl

Yesterday night, I came upon my old diary. In the diary, I would write about how I felt about the people around me. Well, mainly boys. I was discovering what it was like "to love".(That was what I believed in). But as you continue to read me, you'll understand that the real term is really infatuation.

I had this diary for a good five years of my life. By the end of the 5th year, I jumped onto the blogging bandwagon and have never looked back since. I have been writing about myself and my life on my blog for nearly two years now. Some of you may have read me, some of you may have not.

Though I have a blog and as all the other bloggers out there say, "It's my blog and I can write whatever I want." However, I beg to differ. Throughout my blogging career(if we can call it that), I've learnt that it's never good to "write whatever you want". I have to filter my entries just in case I lose a friend.

But in a diary it was different. No one else reads it but you.

Though keeping a diary has been a past time long forgotten, I'd like to share all my younger more foolish intimate thoughts with you.

Mind you, my following entries will possess the worst grammars ever; that's because at the age of 12/13 I have not had enough English classes yet. Unlike the amount I've had today. The entries are neither earth shatteringly tragic or are of the intellectual kind.

I was but a mere child when I first started to write hence the mindless rants about "that bitch," "that asshole". But the main component of my diary was about my infatuation for this one boy and all the other variables I had.

What you'll get will be the ones I once wrote from my heart.

I would be constantly mocking my younger self in these fonts.

If there are any of you who feel that my writing is familiar, do drop me a line at that.diarygirl@gmail.com and see if your guess is right.

Hello there. Found your blog through PPS. Nice diary/blog you have. Interesting.

May I know why you've decided to post your diary up on a blog? Just curious, hope you don't mind.

:)

Oops. Forgot something. Btw, I liked writing diaries too, and had been keeping up with the habit since I was 14, on and off.. until I discovered what a blog realy is.

Cheers!

Well,:) a person after all writes for an audience. Whatever medium, paper or internet...

:) I have a blog elsewhere.
Writing is my way of expressing myself.

And this diary is a part of me that I have grown out of. It's time to have a laugh at it:)
